What does your website developer tell you?

1  Websites are too often not designed with the search engines in mind, as a result they could attract low volume, low quality traffic. You might then end up having to buy traffic through Pay Per Click. Paying the search engines for each visitor could increase the cost of your advertising. Advance planning is best.

2  Many Web Designers use techniques that can make website content hard to index in the search engines. One such pitfall using an Adobe "Flash" animation to present text content, unless it is done the correct way. Search Engines cannot easily read a page that has been designed completely in Adobe Flash, so the words in the page might not get ranked easily in the search engines.
